Welcome

In the 1980s, a group of old west enthusiasts gathered together with the purpose of recreating the Old West. But this wasn't to be your typical living history group of weekend warriors who's goal was to give a nice presentation to the public from 9-5 on Saturday and Sunday. No, these men wanted to create a real and tangible experience. The kind of experience that makes you question if time travel is possible. The sites, smells, tastes and feelings of the old west. This was their goal.

This blog along with a future documentary film, hopes to capture the stories and recollections of these men and their fictional towns of Tincup and Flatwater. To find out and hear told what drove them and hopefully inspire future generations to keep history alive and present in the years to come. This is the story of the men who "saw the elephant".
